Powerhouse section of the kern river

John from Mountain River Tours in Kernville took a large group of kayakers out onto the Powerhouse section of the kern. For most of the group this was their first time on a SUP. The group included Olympian Eric Giddens, and his wive, Olympic silver medalist Rebecca Giddens.

This class 2-3 section of river was perfect for the first timers to try out SUP, and everyone came out of the experience with thumbs up and grins, vowing to return.
